MEMBERS ONLY PODCAST – Featured Speaker: Yeonmi Park, Warning to America; Davos in the Desert Gala
$10
Yeonmi Park is one of the most articulate North Korean defectors. Born into the world’s most repressive regime, Yeonmi suffered endemic starvation, the horrors of seeing corpse-strewn streets and her father banished to a camp from which few emerge alive. At great risk to life and limb, Yeonmi and her mother escaped to China—only to be subjected to torment at the hands of human traffickers and threats of repatriation.
And look at her now! Yeonmi graduated from Columbia University and is the author of two best-selling books—In Order to Live: A North Korean Girl’s Journey to Freedom and While Time Remains. Her talks have been viewed approximately 350 million times.
- INCESSANT INDOCTRINATION
- MILITANT INTOLERANCE OF DISSENT
- SUFFOCATING CONTROL OF THE CITIZENRY BY GOVERNMENT
- CORRUPTION OF LANGUAGE
- CALCULATED CLEAVAGES BETWEEN PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN
- RACE-BASED DIVISIVENESS
- TWO-TIERED JUSTICE
- POLITICIZED INTERNAL SECURITY FORCES
All increasingly common in the United States. And all serve as eerie and ominous parallels with North Korea.
